BATAILLERES LAKE
Access by road
From Orelle, access by the National Road n°6 until the Praz. Take on the right (after the EDF power station) on a small road until the parking of the cable cab or possibility to go at St Michel de Maurienne and then at Valmeinier; take the Prec's trail that will allow you to go at the Bissorte dam trekking 2 hours less.
Access by foot
From the Prec, go to the direction of the Bissorte dam, and walk at its borders until the Refuge des Marches. The same track will lead you at a nice mountain lake, the lake of the Bataillères. Coming back with the same track.
